About Blessed Medical Aid Foundation (BMAF)
At Blessed Medical Aid Foundation (BMAF), we believe that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental human right, not a privilege. We are an independent, secular, and operational Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to transforming public health outcomes across underserved communities.
Driven by a passion to build a healthier world, our mission is anchored directly in United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3): Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.
Our Priority Focus Areas
We concentrate our field operations and resources on four pivotal targets of SDG 3:
- Protecting Mothers (Target 3.1): Championing safe maternity, prenatal, and postnatal care to drastically reduce global maternal mortality.
- Saving Newborns & Children (Target 3.2): Fighting preventable infant and child mortality through timely medical interventions, nutrition, and early health protection.
- Ending Disease Epidemics (Target 3.3): Deploying grassroots screening, vaccination, and treatment drives to eliminate communicable threats like Hepatitis, Malaria, HIV/AIDS, and water-borne illnesses.
- Universal Health Access (Target 3.8): Breaking down financial and geographical barriers so everyone can access safe, affordable essential medicines, vaccines, and quality healthcare services
