According to the World Health Organization’s latest 2026 Global Hepatitis Report, Nigeria now carries the third-largest Hepatitis burden in the entire world, accounting for a staggering share of global deaths from liver complications.

Today, Blessed Medical Aid Foundation (BMAF) is launching Project 2500

A grassroots intervention to provide free Hepatitis B screenings and administer 2,500 life-saving vaccines across 5 states in Nigeria (500 doses per state). We are calling on our local readers, corporate partners, and the global Diaspora to help us fund this mission.
